Spring Footwear Fashion Trends to Look Forward To

Posted by Kristin on Jan 1st 2020

With the excitement of the Holiday Season behind us, most of us need something to look forward to as we plow through the first few months of the year.  While we still have a few more months before we can officially pack up our winter boots for the season, Spring is right around the corner!  As you dream about a refresh for your Spring wardrobe, here are a few of the upcoming trends that we are excited about...

  • Neon will continue to build in popularity, and you will see this represented in a big way in spring footwear options.  From pops of neon on white sneakers to full neon colored sandals, this is a trend that you can participate in regardless of your age or style.  For those of you who want to rock this trend in a subtle way, Shoe Fly will offer the classic Tretorn Nylite Bold in white which will feature a small splash of neon green.  For our more adventurous customers the Fly London Yabo will hit our shelves in late Spring in a muted brick neon that is sure to turn heads.

  • Polka Dots make a come back this year and were represented in an elevated way on Spring 2020 runways.  Shoe Fly will be offering the opportunity to participate in this trend via the ultra-feminine Birkenstock Arizona platform with black and white polka dots, which will be on our floor in early May.

  • The Clog trend spills over from Fall 2019 and remains strong in new updated versions in Spring 2020.  A new update to our ultra-popular MIA Abba clog will make its debut in early April in an open toe version.  Jeffrey Campbell trendy clogs in great new patterns and materials will be available in late January.
